In collaboration with Bristol’s independent food sector, local communities, and partner charities, The MAZI Project creates an inclusive environment for vulnerable young people. By leveraging the dinner table as a tool for connection, The MAZI Project aims to reduce isolation, build confidence, and make those in need feel cared for and extraordinary.
The Role:
As Treasurer, you’ll wield your expertise to oversee financial matters, ensuring compliance and sustainability for this impactful charity. Collaborating closely with the founder, committee members, and volunteers, you’ll champion financial transparency and viability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial aspects of the charity to ensure short and long-term viability
- Monitor financial health and advise on financial matters
- Ensure compliance with legal and accounting standards
- Work closely with founder, committee members, and volunteers to maintain financial transparency and viability
Requirements:
- Fundraising/income-generation knowledge and/or business development.
- An understanding of the UK grant and contract sector.
- An understanding of the challenges facing organisations
- Experience of diverse income generation practices.
- Ability to think creatively.
